… Dawna Morton was raised in Portland, Oregon where she discovered her love of painting at an early age. Her love of family and nature provide the basis for her works. Watercolor is Dawna’s medium of choice. She loves its luminosity, which brings her vision of brightening the world and the lives of others forward. Currently residing in Rainier, Oregon with her family she finds much of her inspiration in the forests surrounding their home.
In addition to her artist pursuits, Dawna is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, mom to 6 living kids and one angel in Heaven, avid bookworm, ravenous genealogist, loves gardening (and chocolate!), and dabbles occasionally in poetry.
So why the “tle” in DlmtleArt?
… Back in high school, when she was dating a really awesome guy, Dawna . came up with a “secret” doodle she could write all over her notebooks . . . whenever she was thinking about him. Later as an assignment in art . . . . class she turned it into a design to silk screen on a matching pair of T . . . . shirts for them. The symbol in the center that resembles a big E . . . . . . . . . represents“True Love Forever Through out All Eternity.” She started . . . signing her artwork with her initials and this symbol after they got .. .. . . . married.

I like the first self portrait of yourself that you have posted. Good job on the time trial – it is a good idea sometimes to take ourselves out of our norm creatively – you don’t know what you will come up with and sometimes it can be some of our best work! Have a good day!
